Father Vinayak Jadav, S.J., a lecturer in Gujarati literature and journalism at St. Xavier College, Ahmedabad, India, examines the history and impact of the Catholic Church in India. He talks about the church's origins as well as its dedication to the poor through social action, education, health services, and inculturation. Fr. Jadav also speaks passionately about the many challenges the church in India needs to address in its ongoing effort to bring the Kingdom of peace and justice to its people.

Ashok Vaghela, S.J., received his MFA in Television Production from Loyola Marymount University. He worked as a missionary for five years with the indigenous people of Gujarat, India. This experience inspired Fr. Vaghela to produce the film ANGUTHO, which was recently selected to the Indo-American Film Festival 2007.
